As we face grief we are given many choices – choices to isolate, become angry, and misunderstood stand readily available (if not justified). Or we may choose to hold on, to allow our life to become a layered tapestry of good and bad and allow those around us to make their mark as well. In time, the layers – dark, light, and messy – become cohesive again.

Meet the Artist:
Lily Wilder often uses words to make sense of her own thoughts. Writing poetry or short form allows her to observe and digest. In the same sense, she uses color, tone, and abstract forms to make sense and beauty out of concept.
